Want to make a difference in the life of a child with cancer?
It’s easier than you think!
On November 8, 2009 over 80 shavees, including Arlington County Police, Sheriff and Fire Department personnel and other community leaders, shaved their heads to benefit the Cancer Programs at Children’s National.
The 1st Annual Be Brave and Shave event was a huge success and fundraising for childhood cancer continues. If you would like to make a donation, please visit our secure donation website.
With your support, Children’s National will continue to create hope for children and their families as we work toward a 100% cure.
Every dollar makes a difference and all funds raised benefit the Cancer Programs
and will be used to support the development of a comprehensive cancer center at Children’s National in Washington, D.C.!
